One of the many questions that comes to mind when we think about gift coupons is that “Why offer gift coupons to your patient’s?’’
Gift coupons are a great way to acquire new patients while retaining the loyal ones.Gift coupons encourage people who might not otherwise visit your office to take a look around and likely return to start treatment.And once they have started their treatment they often end up coming back and spending more.
Gift Coupons can be used as a ‘$ Off Certificate’, a ‘% Discount’ or a ‘Free Service’ which your patients can redeem their points for.On our new system, adding a Gift Coupon is very easy. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1: While you're logged into the staff portal, click on the "Settings" tab on the left sidebar navigation.
Step 2: From the options choose “Rewards”.
Step 3: From the new screen, click on “View All” for “Gift Coupons” option. A new page with a list of all the available Gift Coupons will appear.
Step 4: If you want to add a brand new Gift Coupon to your list, click on the blue button at the top right called "Add Gift Coupons”.
From the new screen that appears, fill in all the details and click on “Submit”.
Step 5: From the editor page you also have the option to:
Edit the points value, Gift Coupon description and/or expiry duration.
Delete a Gift Coupon you have created
*Expiry Duration:Time (in days) until the issued gift coupon becomes invalid.
Remember: Gift Coupons added here will show up on a patient’s redeem screen under “Gift Coupons” tab and can be redeemed for points by clicking on the “Redeem” button.
*If a gift coupon has been issued to a patient, it will show on the patient’s award points screen. To redeem the issued gift coupon just click on the gift coupon. After it has been redeemed the status will change from “Issued” to “Redeemed” in activity history.
